The giants are so big that the humans can’t see them. Even when you are standing right next to one, you will not know it, because even just their foot is so big, it will look like a wall to you. The giants also don’t really look like the humans. Their bodies are not so long and thin, but rather gigantic, in every which way. They find this very convenient, because you can stand a lot better when you don’t have to balance on such tiny feet, and stick-like legs. They don’t understand what the humans move so much for, anyways. All day long, and sometimes well into the night, it’s one big migration to and fro, here and there and back again, then to this place, and then that. Some places are so far away that not even their spindly little agile legs are enough to take them there, and the humans have had to come up with very elaborate ways of moving around, faster and ever faster. The giants barely move at all. It’s difficult for them to do, what with the huge mass they’d have to transport, and they also don’t really find it necessary. They don’t need a lot to eat — just some sunshine, and some water and they’re set, and they also don’t get weaker if they don’t move, because they aren’t like the humans. Their strength grows, even when they just stand still. Another reason why the giants don’t like to move a lot: they don’t want the humans to notice!
